This traditionally designed house with it’s vast garden is situated in the spectacular high mountain area of Stowe in Vermont, USA.

Boulders, rock gardens and blended color schemes were created to assimilate into the surrounding habitat.

Our objective was to use local boulders to integrate the building’s landscape topography into the existing mountainous landscape and adorn the interstices with mass plantings of grasses, shrubs and perennials to achieve a more natural integrated and harmonious look.
